Fairview Township, PA – At approximately 1:10 PM, Fairview Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the area of 8470 Middle Road in Fairview Township for a reported vehicle fire. Prior to their arrival, Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) confirmed the vehicle was actively burning and attempted to extinguish the fire using a fire extinguisher, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Upon arrival, Fairview’s Engine 534 quickly deployed a bumper line to initiate a primary attack on the fire. Firefighters swiftly brought the flames under control. After extinguishing the fire, crews utilized thermal imaging cameras to check for any remaining hotspots and ensure the fire was completely out.

The scene was cleared, and crews returned to service approximately 45 minutes after the initial dispatch.
