Crews Respond to Two-Vehicle Accident at I-90 Eastbound Exit

Springfield Township, PA – This evening, just after 7:30 PM, first responders from the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department, along with medical personnel from West County Paramedics, were dispatched to a reported two-vehicle motor vehicle accident at the I-90 Eastbound exit ramp to Route 215 northbound in Springfield Township.
Crews arrived to find a two-vehicle crash with moderate damage. Fire personnel from Springfield assisted with traffic control and supported West County crews on scene with patient extrication. Medical personnel evaluated the occupants and transported two patients to a nearby hospital via West County Units 110 and 112.
Eagle Towing responded with two flatbed trucks to remove the vehicles from the roadway. Springfield firefighters assisted with fluid control and cleanup while vehicle recovery technicians handled the removal.
The Pennsylvania State Police were on scene and are investigating the accident. No further details are available at this time.
